Hack and Dump, American Style

It’s been entertaining and educational watching the left go from hailing Elon Musk as a green car hero to damning him as a monkey-torturing, hate speech loving fascist.

The Twitter dump has not produced a hard censorship nexus between government and Twitter, but we have learned that the FBI and other Federal Law Enforcement-Intel Agency Blobsters routinely embed with social media corporations to “advise” them on “Disinformation,” “Misinformation,” and other speech that hysterical Establishmentarians warn could destroy the very fabric of our nation.

My opposition to this isn’t Government talking to corporations, so long as it is above-board, transparent and discoverable by citizen inquiry. My complaint is that our government has a horrible track record advising us. The feds failed–either through incompetence or malfeasance–to identify the “Steele Dossier” for the fabricated campaign crap that it was, and the “Intelligence experts” were flat wrong on the Hunter Biden laptop story.

FBI Sat on Biden Laptop, “Pre-bunked” the Story?

Now comes a new theory. It is clear from all evidence that feds did not order the socials to censor and snuff the Biden laptop story. What the FBI did instead was much more clever at staying within the bounds of the Constitution:

The FBI warned Twitter during “weekly” meetings before the 2020 election to expect “hack-and-leak operations’’ by “state actors” involving Hunter Biden, and “likely” in October, according to a sworn declaration by Twitter’s former head of site integrity, Yoel Roth.

The warnings were so specific that Twitter immediately censored The Post’s scoop about Hunter Biden’s laptop on Oct. 14, 2020, citing its “hacked materials” policy, a move described on Saturday as “election interference” by Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk

The extraordinary revelation for the first time lays bare how the FBI was involved in pre-bunking the story of the laptop, which had been in the bureau’s possession for almost a year.

What say you?
