The attack on Pearl Harbor brought us into WWII. Good Americans on the homefront and the battlefield displayed a tenacious heroism to see the job through to victory. May God bless those men and women.

I doubt we’ll ever see another such attack on our nation. The next Pearl Harbor will be some kind of cyber attack that ties us up and forces our attention inward, like taking down the East Coast power grid in winter.

We call those who won World War II the greatest generation, and rightly so.

Could this nation again rise to such a challenge?
